The Indian Assistant High Commissioner, Her Excellency Saranya V S, and Ms. Deepika, Secretary to the Assistant High Commission of India in Kandy, visited ISB on January 17, 2025, for a courtesy call. During the visit, she learned about ISB’s services to industries, entrepreneurs, and civil society. Following discussions, she praised ISB’s role in regional industrial development and expressed interest in exploring Indian government support for ISB’s future initiatives. Her Excellency Saranya V S had previously attended the Wayamba Wijayabhimani Award Ceremony 2024 organized by ISB as as a special guest on December 27, 2024, in Kurunegala.
