Industrial Services Bureau (ISB) successfully conducted the Stakeholder Consultation Workshop for the Nutrition and Dietary Behaviour Assessment of Pregnant Mothers and Children: A Comparative Study between NSP Beneficiaries and Non-Beneficiaries on 02 June 2026 at Hotel Mandarina, Colombo.
This national assessment, funded by the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) and implemented by the Industrial Services Bureau (ISB) in collaboration with the Medical Research Institute (MRI), will be conducted across six statistically selected districts in Sri Lanka.
The workshop brought together representatives from WFP, the Partnership Secretariat for World Food Programme Cooperation (PSWFP), the Technical Advisory Group, Ministry of Health,Family Health Bureau, Health Promotion Bureau,Provincial and Regional Health Authorities, District Secretariats, Welfare Benefits Board, the Ministry of Women and Child Affairs, academia, NGOs, and other key stakeholders. Their valuable insights and recommendations will contribute to the successful implementation of this important study.
