Promoting Public-Private Partnership in the North Western Province project reached another important milestone with a high-level stakeholder discussion focused on advancing Public-Private Partnership (PPP) implementation across Local Authorities.
The meeting brought together the Chief Secretary of the North Western Province, senior provincial and local government officials, representatives from The Asia Foundation, and the Industrial Services Bureau (ISB) to finalize the next steps for calling Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for prioritized PPP opportunities.
During the discussion, feasibility reports were officially handed over, the newly developed PPP Web Portal was introduced, and participating authorities confirmed the availability of prioritized resources. A common understanding was reached on the procurement process.
The discussion concluded with a strong commitment from provincial and local authorities to move forward with the PPP procurement process, marking a significant step from project identification to implementation. Through continued collaboration and coordinated institutional support, the initiative is paving the way for transparent, investor-friendly, and sustainable PPP investments across the North Western Province.
