ISB had the honor of hosting an incredible Women’s Day Celebration on March 14, 2025 with around 90 women in the North Western Province. This inspiring event honored women entrepreneurs for their exceptional leadership and empowered those aspiring to start their own businesses.

The event was packed with dynamic speeches, live performances, and invaluable networking opportunities, bringing together women from all walks of life.

Keynote Speaker, Mrs. Gayani De Alwis, Chairman of the Women’s Chamber of Industry and Commerce, shared her powerful insights on “How to Be Your Own Boss”, emphasizing the importance of resilience, self-empowerment, and creating spaces for women to lead.

Ms. L. Chiranthi Cooray, Founder of Accedo Intel, delivered an impactful speech on “Bridging Traditions and Transformations – The Power of Sri Lankan Women in Business”, highlighting how women can drive change in both business and society.
