Objective of the Programme:

Main objective of the programme is providing knowledge and skills in handling misconduct of employees in an organization towards maintaining discipline in organizations.
This programme would be very essential & timely topic to discuss with the target group and make them aware how to prevent the industrial disputes at their work places.
The reading materials will be provided in English and the explanation will be in Sinhala.


Target Group           :           HR Executives, Sectional Heads & Senior HR Assistants

  • Definition of misconduct
  • Identification of types of misconduct : Major & Minor
  • Misconduct during strikes and other turbulent situations.

Disciplinary Procedure

  • Preliminary Investigation, Recording evidence & statements.
  • Framing Charges sheet / show cause notice

Domestic Inquiry

  • Role of the Inquiry officer
  • Role of the Prosecuting Officer and consultation for witnesses.
  • Natural Justice principle / Balance of probability principle
  • Advantages of having a domestic inquiry
  • Punishments according to the outcome of the domestic inquiry.

Labour Tribunal

  • Selection of witnesses & preparing them for the trail
  • Secondary evidence
  • Appeal against the decision of the LT
 
 

Course Fee                                     : Rs.1500.00 per participant

for 22 yrs as Personnel & Administration Manager for 7 yrs, 5 yrs as Management Accountant & 10 yrs as Factory Accountant.
